Samuel Doe was not a Liberian, he was brought to Liberia at a young age from Ivory Coast.. Attended Baptist Elementary School in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh Country, Liberia. His father was an elicit gold miner in Tuzon (Tuzon means under the tree )
